Today is August 12, 2011 and I am getting sick. I hate allergy season!!! So Parker and I stayed home all day and Skye went to go hang with grandma and grandpa Ross. Parker took a nice little nap and I was able to get some cleaning done(thank goodness). That's about it....yea I know we are SUPER exciting!!
OH I ALMOST FORGOT!!!
Skye decided she was going to paint a picture today! Mind you I was in the living room feeding Parker and Skye was in my room "watching" cartoons. I guess she went through my closet and came across some craft stuff in a bag. Is this where the paint comes into the story you ask?....why yes, yes it is!! I was totally oblivious to any of this (I know bad mommy award) until she came in and said "mommy I spilled paint on your bed." Let me just say that we have white sheets! Don't laugh just yet, the story is not over. I slowly put Parker down and headed for the scene of the crime. As I am walking up to the bed I realize that this is no ordinary water color paint. She had gotten my fabric paint! Yep I said fabric paint. sooooo...........tomorrow we are taking the sheet outside and finishing what she started!!! I know I'm nuts, but what a great excuse to have a fun art project!!!
